Shabbat Services in Doncaster
A warm, welcoming shule in Melbourne’s north-east. Join us for Friday night, a thought-provoking Shiur, and Shabbat morning prayers followed by Kiddush.
Our Shabbat service times
Everyone is welcome at the North Eastern Jewish Centre, whether you come every week or this is your first time.
Friday night
Welcome Shabbat with song and prayer.
Shabbat morning
Learn, pray and enjoy together.
Captivating Shiurim and sermons
Rabbi Menachem Sabbach brings Torah to life. His Shabbat morning Shiur explores engaging halachic questions in a relaxed, friendly setting, and his sermons are thought-provoking, relevant and often leave people talking long after.
You do not need any background. Come along, listen, ask questions and be part of the conversation.
Socialise and enjoy at Kiddush
Shabbat morning does not end with the last prayer. Stay for our communal Kiddush, a chance to share a l’chaim, enjoy good food, catch up with friends and meet new people.
It is the heart of our community: relaxed, friendly and open to everyone.
Yahrzeit and weekly minyanim
We hold Yahrzeit minyanim and other weekly minyanim throughout the week. If you are marking a Yahrzeit or would like to join, ask us for the times and we will gladly help.
